I am Harvey Hazen, Founder and CEO of HAZEN EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING. After 37 years in Public Education as a teacher, Counselor, and Administrator, I retired happily in 2005. Until 2019 my wife and I happily raised and trained dogs for obedience, show and service, a long-time hobby. We enjoyed our retirement from education, she had been a Special Education teacher. In 2019 my wife passed away and we went into the covid pandemic shortly thereafter. As we came out of the pandemic I saw the effect on children, families and our education system. I felt that I needed to somehow help and my 37 years and experience as a teacher, counselor and administrator seemed to provide me the opportunity to do just that. At the same time, I had remarried a retired early education teacher who had lost her husband and retired. We talked often about her grandson and his family and how it had affected their lives and his learning. That was the impetus for the start of Hazen Education Consulting. We’re different from most educational businesses in two ways. One is that we don’t assume we have all the answers. We are problem solvers. Come to Hazen Educational Consulting as a parent, an educator, or a school system and we will work with you to solve any issue that involves the education of Children. If that can be done in a 30-minute free session, great, BOOK a CALL. If it takes longer, we can talk about what is needed and how we can help.
